The Hanstaiger X1 is an exclusive and luxurious trimaran with a carbon fibre hull, measuring 20 metres in length and built in Alicante, Spain
Nicknamed Batman’s catamaran because of its distinctive front silhouette, the Hanstaiger X1 is a masterpiece of engineering and luxury built in Alicante, Spain by the boutique shipyard Hanstaiger.
The trimaran boasts a custom-designed, high-performance sail system that raises and lowers the sails at the touch of a button. Sails up, the XI can reach speeds of 20 knots (almost 40 Km/h) and 30 knots (55.5 Km/h) with the support of the two Volvo D4 turbo diesel engines, each with 225 HP (and a consumption of 80 l/h).
The Hanstaiger X1 has a range of 600 miles and an Ocean Category A approval. However, its stand-out feature is its hull, constructed from a single piece of carbon fibre or fibreglass (depending on the client’s preference) achieved by using a vacuum infusion technique that increases strength whilst keeping it lightweight – tipping the scales at just 40 tons. Its dimensions are 19.72 m. length; 10 m. beam and 0.91 m. maximum draft.
While the base price is around three million euros, the final cost can vary depending on the level of customization required. If you prefer a taste of luxury without the commitment of ownership, the X1 is also available for rent in Ibiza, with prices ranging from €5,500 to €7,500 per day (excluding VAT and fuel).
The Hanstaiger XI offers an unparalleled blend of performance, comfort and sophistication. Its helm and luxurious, light and spacious interiors are a testament to its quality. Comfort is paramount, with versatile, expandable spaces that can be adapted to your needs. Imagine open-plan rooms and enough plush cabins to comfortably accommodate ten guests and three bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen and even a jacuzzi ensure an unforgettable yachting experience.
