Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

Aston Martin capped off 2024 with the spectacular Vantage coupe and kicks off 2025 with an even more irresistible version: the Roadster

Imagine the beauty, elegance, and style of a classic Aston Martin, combined with the exhilarating freedom of a convertible. The Vantage Roadster delivers just that. The British automaker has equipped it with the same engine as the hardtop coupé but reinforced the chassis for added rigidity.
The Roadster’s power-operated soft top opens or closes seamlessly in just 6.8 seconds, even while driving at speeds of up to 30 mph (50 km/h).
Under the contoured bonnet lies the Vantage’s (and the coupe’s) potent, yet refined, 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. This all-aluminium engine boasts 665 horsepower and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, featuring a closed-deck block for increased strength and rigidity, crowned with zirconium alloy cylinder heads with 32 valves and larger twin turbos that surge with power and contribute to the engine’s impressive power delivery throughout the entire rev range, all the way to a staggering 7,600 rpm. The result is a 0-60 mph (100 km/h) sprint of just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h).
The Vantage Roadster delivers the brand’s signature dynamism, visceral excitement, and elegance in an open-top package. Standard features include a new infotainment system with a 10.25-inch central display and a 390-watt, 11-speaker Aston Martin audio system with QuantumLogic surround sound. A premium Bowers & Wilkins system acoustically optimised for the Roadster’s interior, is also available.
While the audio systems are impressive, the truly captivating soundtrack comes from the V8 engine’s howl under acceleration, the powerful growl of the quad exhaust and its smooth rumble when cruising. These can be easily adjusted using the metal rotary dial on the centre console, offering a choice of five drive modes and exhaust settings.
Numerous personalisation options are available, including a choice of colours, three new iridescent finishes, and soft top colours in black, red, blue, or black and silver. Four different 21-inch wheel designs are offered with various finishes, along with seven colour options for the brake callipers.
The Vantage Roadster is set to hit the streets in the second quarter of 2025, with a price tag likely exceeding the existing coupé’s starting price of around €250,000.
