Armada Model A, the first flying car

Alef Aeronautics is poised to transform science fiction into reality with the Armada Model A, its first flying car. This revolutionary vehicle has a very real price tag of $299,999 and over 3,000 preorders. The Model A will hit the market and take flight in mid-to-late 2025.
Drawing inspiration from iconic films like Back to the Future, Blade Runner, and The Fifth Element, the Armada Model A is a lightweight, electric two-seater weighing just 385 kilograms and measuring 5.2 metres in length. Its vertical takeoff and landing capabilities and omnidirectional flight redefine personal transportation.
Once airborne, the car tilts onto one side for flight mode, while thanks to the sophisticated gimbaled cabin and elevon system, passengers remain upright and comfortable enough to enjoy a smooth ride and panoramic views.
Powered by eight electric propellers—four in the front and four in the rear—the Model A can reach a top speed of nearly 180 km/h with a flight range of 180 kilometres. The propulsion system is controlled by software, allowing each propeller to adjust independently and at different speeds for optimal performance.
Back on the ground, the Model A drives like a traditional electric car, with a range of approximately 322 kilometres. However, its ground speed is limited to 60 km/h. Alef Aeronautics is already looking ahead and is currently developing the Model Z, a four-seater electric flying saloon car scheduled for launch in 2035.
