5G+ utilizes native 5G bands, unlike ‘conventional’ 5G which relies on 4G networks; it reduces energy consumption by up to 90%. Additionally, its innovative technology ensures the device’s identity is not transmitted. By 2025, it has the potential to slash network energy consumption by tenfold and this figure could soar to twentyfold by 2030. This makes a significant contribution to mitigating the impact of human activity on our planet. The applications of 5G+ standalone technology range from smart cities to sensors of all kinds, autonomous vehicles, educational content, remote surgery, precision agriculture and more efficient transport and operations in remote areas. In Spain, 82% of the population can access this technology.
