The Chinese company goes down in history as the first smartphone brand to manufacture a car. The Xiaomi SU7 is electric, promises a range of 800 kilometres, and can reach speeds of up to 265 km/h thanks to its powerful 664 horsepower engine. Its ‘super saving’ mode kicks in when battery life dips below 50 km. While this extends your range, it comes at the cost of sacrificing some luxuries like smart driving assistance, cruise control, and air conditioning. Fortunately, these features can be manually turned back on if needed. Despite the slight trade-off, Xiaomi has already sold an impressive 10,000 units in just 32 days and aims to deliver 100,000 by year-end.
