Presented in ‘demo’ mode at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, Sony’s latest virtual reality headset features notably improved resolution, with 2,000 x 2,040 per eye, enhanced colour quality and contrast thanks to its OLED panel and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. Ergonomics and comfort have also been dialled up. The controllers, with lithium battery, USB-C port and Bluetooth 5.1, deliver effective DualShock and DualSense haptic feedback with adaptive triggers. It also features an eye-tracking interface that takes a few seconds to set up and allows you to select options just by looking at them.
