Chill-O-Matic: ice-cold in sixty seconds. The perfect geeky-but-useful summer gadget, equally at home on the beach, by the pool, on a campsite or at an outdoor party or simply as a gift. The classic Chill-O-Matic model runs on two AA batteries, is designed for standard 330–350 ml cans and claims to chill drinks up to 240 times faster than a conventional fridge. It still requires ice, but its rotating system dramatically accelerates thermal exchange, cooling a drink in roughly a minute. Widely available online, it usually sells for around €60.
