Sheer transparencies. From evening gowns to trending tops: everything gets the sheer treatment with mesh dresses and totally translucent fabrics in abundance. Paired with bare-all lingerie looks and transparent footwear.
Gorgeous Greens. Go well with other summery colours such as orange and the mood-boosting palette of ‘Barbiecore’ pinks (from hot pink through bubblegum to powder pink). But this summer, go for green – especially aqua greens.
Linen Looks. Comfortable and elegant, cool and light. For a casual look, wear a linen shirt with jeans or Bermuda shorts in white or beige, and sandals. For special occasions, pair a linen shirt with suit trousers or pleated pants and a blazer. Poolside over a swimming costume. Swimsuits and bikinis. Asymmetrical lines are this summer’s must. Choose colourful African and tribal prints, animal prints or shimmer in glitter. Total looks see matching bikini and sarong sets. Alternatively, colour-block offers chic elegance in just one colour or large blocks of colour. Footwear and accessories. Everyday sandals offer 4×4 all-terrain comfort in classic or sporty designs. Rock out with studs, go flat Greek style, or wear mules with transparent vinyl straps. Trainers are reived 90s style, and denim extends to footwear. As for accessories, MVPs this summer are shimmery, sparkly rhinestone bags that contrast with natural raffia and leather baskets.
