Spring fashion 2025

Five jackets. Five styles are set to dominate this season, seen everywhere, from high streets and shop windows to our social media feeds. Boho is back with a bang, bringing must-have fur and shearling gilets—perfect as the seasons change—and irresistibly cool. Other viral trends include lightweight leather jackets in neutrals, black or brown, fringed styles, and the classic, stylish blazer.
Brown reigns supreme. A chocolate brown jacket is this season’s wardrobe essential, but any shade from coffee bean to mocha works beautifully. This flattering neutral has taken centre stage, appearing in everything from blazers and oversized styles to luxurious suede on both the catwalks and street style.
The maxi denim skirt. Start wearing spring’s it skirt now with your favourite jumpers and pair with tees as the temperatures rise. This season’s must-have skirt is comfortable, and cool, and creates the illusion of longer legs.
Spring’s most coveted bags. Take note… Loewe’s Flamenco and Puzzle bags, Isabel Marant’s Oskan Moon, Alaïa’s Teckel, Polène’s Cyme, Khaite’s Elena, and Tory Burch’s Romy…. You don’t need an excuse to use them!
Mule-style clogs. Are riding the crest of the boho wave. Whether heeled or flat, in leather or suede, and in various shades of brown (plus black), they are the essential footwear for the season.
Loafers. Flat, comfortable, preppy, and endlessly versatile loafers offer the perfect finishing touch to any look.
Trainers. Whilst new styles emerge every month, becoming hyped hits, we’re also seeing the revival of classics like the Adidas Campus, with their 2000s runner aesthetic and ‘dad shoe’ vibe. Trainer fans are going wild for styles like the New Balance 1906, the Adidas SL72, and Wales Bonner collaborations. Keep an eye out for metallic trainers, which are tipped to be big.
Love letter to the ’80s. Dynasty-esque shoulder pads & polka dots, and voluminous tulle. Designers like Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Valentino, and Acne Studios have masterfully reinterpreted these iconic elements from the decade of decadence and excess.
Nautical inspiration. Make waves with the sailor look with many leading brands backing the fisherman aesthetic. Expect little hats, Breton stripes, and even fishnet fabrics.
Maximalist accessories. After 2024’s minimalist trends, jewellery is making a statement. We’re talking big and bold, elegant luxury, with colourful stones and crystals adorning pendants, earrings, and rings. Look out for exclusive pieces featuring emeralds, rubies, and aquamarines in fine jewellery, and malachite and lapis lazuli in fashion jewellery.
