Campus UD Las Palmas Lanzarote 2026

Registration is now open for the latest edition of the UD Las Palmas Football Camp in Lanzarote. This summer activity will take place from July 6th to 18th at the Campo Municipal de Yaiza facilities. The sports event offers a total of 100 exclusive spots for young footballers (boys and girls) between the ages of 5 and 14. The camp will run during the morning, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, making it an excellent option to help balance family life during the summer holidays. Interested families can register in person at the Gimnasio Municipal de Yaiza. For inquiries or further details, both the Ayuntamiento’s Sports Department and the official UD Las Palmas platforms have opened their information channels.

The official presentation of this ninth edition was held at the Costa Calero Hotel. The event was attended by the Mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, and the Councillor for Sports, Ángel Lago. Representing the Gran Canarian club were Yeray Sánchez, Director of the Football School, and Paquito Ortiz, Head of Innovation at the Foundation, alongside Eduardo Miquel representing the collaborating hotel. Mayor Óscar Noda praised the strong partnership with the Gran Canaria-based club. He highlighted that Yaiza is once again the only municipality outside of Gran Canaria to secure two consecutive weeks of training, thanks to the local institution’s commitment. For his part, Ángel Lago described the camp as a key gathering point for youth football on the island, prioritizing community, learning, and values in a healthy environment. The training sessions will be led by technical staff and professionals from the yellow club traveling specifically to the island.

The training system will be based on rotations through different thematic areas, covering technical improvement, tactical concepts, psychomotor development, competition dynamics, and specific training for goalkeepers. The UD Las Palmas Foundation and the management of the Costa Calero Hotel reiterated their pride in supporting a project that has firmly established itself as the top summer sports reference in Lanzarote.
