Unveiled at CES 2026, the Rictor X4 is a single-seater ultralight aircraft designed for short-range personal air mobility. This vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle draws on multi-rotor drone technology, featuring eight electric propellers, a foldable carbon-fibre frame and safety systems including redundant batteries and an emergency parachute. It reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h with around 20 minutes of flight time per charge. Assisted controls and a design that can be transported in a large vehicle add to its practicality, though its use remains subject to each country’s aviation laws. The manufacturer has indicated a starting price of around $39,900 (approximately €36,000 to €38,000), with deliveries expected in 2026 via pre-order.robust packaging.
