What kind of content do you create?
Mainly what is now known as fine-art photography. I portray the customs, traditions and everyday life of Lanzarote and its people, as well as the places I visit. I’m a professional photographer.
How do social media platforms make a difference to your work?
They’re a valuable way to communicate. I could never have imagined it when I started out, but they’ve become an extremely effective way of sharing my work and reaching a wider audience.
Do you have many followers?
At the moment, around 11,300. I honestly don’t know whether that’s a lot or not… it’s all relative, I guess.
What is your relationship with Lanzarote?
I’ve lived here for fourteen years. I came, loved it, and decided to stay. I’d say it’s home now.
What’s next on the horizon?
I want to continue photographing everyday life — what I see around me — always with the utmost respect and always searching for beauty in the simple things of daily life.
