Based on a master prototype conceived for a 128 m yacht, the 90m Jazz and its siblings promise to redefine yacht design<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>The renowned team at Zaha Hadid Architects has teamed with shipbuilders Blohm+Voss to reshape the future of yachting with a new approach to the design of superyachts. The result is Unique Circle Yachts. Based on Patrik Schumacher&#8217;s 128-metre master prototype, the Hamburg-based shipyard has built Jazz, the first in a family of five individual yachts. The 90-metre Jazz, while smaller in size, incorporates exciting technical advancements.<br \/>\nAccording to the Zaha Hadid studio, &#8220;The overall design mimics the natural world\u2019s fluid dynamics and underwater ecosystems. The upper section\u2019s exoskeleton is an interwoven network of supports of varying thicknesses that gives the yacht a natural external appearance. The organic shapes resemble natural marine formations, and expressive diagonals seamlessly connect the yacht&#8217;s various levels and decks.\u201d<br \/>\nThe Unique Circle Yacht is a departure from traditional yacht design, embodying the signature organic aesthetic of Hadid\u2019s architectural masterpieces. Curving lines, ergonomics, fluidity, and connectivity characterise the integration of the different decks and design elements.<br \/>\nThe Jazz yacht, developed in collaboration with naval architects at Blohm+Voss, also carries the unmistakable Hadid gene. However, its German engineers have devised technical refinements that go far above and beyond the usual specifications required for traditional ocean cruising. The result is a captivating combination of cutting-edge technology with luxury, comfort and spaciousness.<br \/>\nOther significant features of this beauty are her 16-metre beam, 4.2-metre draught, 29.63 km\/h top speed and 25.93 km\/h cruising speed, a range of 5,000 nautical miles and propulsion with twin 2,160 KW (2,897 CV) diesel engines, each with a fixed propeller gearbox and manoeuvrability by a bow thruster.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unique Circle Yachts is a family of five superyachts from Zaha Hadid Architects.
