Plans started in 2022, but at last the 33 Stradale 2024 will be launched this year as a limited-edition super sports car of just 33 units.<br \/>\nDesigned by the Spaniard Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos and inspired by the design of Franco Scaglione&#8217;s classic coup\u00e9, it will be hand-built by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. It has an H-shaped aluminium chassis and carbon-fibre monocoque, with high torsional rigidity and a low centre of gravity.<br \/>\nThe front end features the V of an integrated nose and wing volume the Italians cofango, elliptical LED headlights and a seductive undulating body. Doors boast the same large top-hinged butterfly doors that debuted on its predecessor. At the rear sits an equally spectacular V-section, air intakes integrated into the headlights and mirrors with spoiler function that creates a ground effect and an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.375 Cx without the need for active systems.<br \/>\nThe powertrain warrants special mention, with two options: electric or thermal. The traditional petrol engine is a 620-hp twin-turbo V-6, which will power the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, delivering outrageous performance: 0-60mph in three seconds and a top speed of 333mph.<br \/>\nThe all-electric variant will deliver 750 hp with very similar performance and a self-limiting top speed of 310 km\/h. Its 800 V and 90 kWh (net) battery gives it a range of around 450 kilometres.<br \/>\nAlfa Romeo has kept the 33 Stradale&#8217;s interior minimalist, verging on the nostalgic, except for its 3D telescopic instrument panel mounted just behind a sporty steering wheel. The only technological concession is the exemplary haptics and lack of controls. Two standard interior treatments are available: Tributo, more classic, with leather and aluminium and Alfa Corse, sporty, with carbon and Alcantara. However, there is plenty of scope for customisation as each car will be entirely custom-built.<br \/>\nProduction starts in June 2024 (2 to 3 cars per month), and the first delivery will be made on 17 December 2024 (and so on until 2026).
