This workspace called ‘Modern Times’ was developed by Barcelona designers The Room Studio for technology brand Gira and exhibited in their promotional space at Casa D\u00e9cor, Spain\u2019s major annual interior design show.<\/p>\n
The way home automation and comfort is integrated with functionality, spaciousness and simple, clean lines helped it win the Best Project Award 2021.<\/p>\n
Domotic comfort is at the core of the \u2018Modern Times\u2019 concept. In its minimalist elegance, every feature has an important role to play: the modest wooden panels disguise cupboards, the carpet, by BSB Alfombras, muffles noise and adds warmth; the linen curtains regulate the natural light and the ample desk made with Granith natural stone, is fitted with integrated cable ducts and control panel.<\/p>\n
The Casa Decor jury praised the \u2018Brilliant design for its balance of colours, materials and shapes.\u2019 Adding that, \u2018It gives off a sense of harmony and coherence that creates a really relaxing and pleasant atmosphere that can be adjusted to create different moods thanks to Gira’s sophisticated home automation mechanisms.\u2019<\/p>\n
