It kicks off on Saturday 29th April, with the time trial in La Graciosa. On Sunday 30th, back in Lanzarote, it will be the turn of the Teguise Bike and the Ultrabike Santa Rosa races held simultaneously. In total, the three races cover 181 kilometres and 2,629 metres of cumulative elevation gain.<\/p>\n<p>The vertiginous dirt tracks of La Graciosa make the 15-kilometre time trial a highly demanding but thrilling ride. The eighth island is a protected territory, and organisers must comply with certain limitations to the letter, like sticking to a maximum of 350 competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday&#8217;s races return to the circular route format, starting and finishing at Club Santa Rosa in Costa Teguise. The organisers have prepared surprises along the routes, and both races combine challenge, fun and breath-taking scenery.<\/p>\n<p>The 55-kilometre IX Teguise Bike is a smoother route and is less demanding. Conversely, the IX Ultrabike Santa Rosa race is an extreme test of stamina and skill for the brave men and women who take on its 111 kilometres. It\u2019s a high-level sporting event with scores qualifying for the MTB Spanish Cup.
