But for those of you who want to experiment with making veggie burgers at home, try Mash the beans (drain if they are from a jar) in a blender with the garlic, onion and a little water. Put the bean mixture in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Heat oil in a frying pan (a little more than for a meat burger). Shape into a hamburger patty. Cook for about eight minutes over medium heat and five more on the other side.
