Purosangue is Ferrari\u2019s new four-door, four-seater thoroughbred with its iconic naturally aspirated V12 engine and 725 hp. It might look like an SUV but it is not…<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

The Maranello-based company is extremely fond of launching great creations on dates that have a personal significance to the brand, and this is no exception. Ferrari is celebrating the culmination of 75 years of research in the shape of Purosangue \u2013 a unique car that combines first-class comfort, spacious interior, high technology, cutting-edge materials, four seats, four doors and the performance of a thoroughbred, as you\u2019d expect from its DNA.<\/p>\n

Ferrari has steered clear of the typical crossover or SUV: offering instead a completely different layout and proportions in its Purosangue. It boasts the transaxle architecture typical of sports cars, a monster 6.5-litre naturally aspirated 65-degree V12 (F140IA) engine that produces 725 hp of maximum output. Performance-wise, expect 0-100 km\/h in 2.2 seconds; 0-200 km\/h in 10.6 seconds; top speed: 310 km\/h; braking: 100-0 km\/h in 32.8 metres and 200-0 km\/h in 129 metres.<\/p>\n

\"Ferrari<\/a><\/p>\n

The Purosangue uses solutions derived from racing (Formula 1) vehicles, such as (812 Competizione) cylinder heads and mechanical efficiency, but manages to strike the perfect balance between performance, comfort and driving pleasure. It is very spacious and comfortable, fitted with four large, heated and easily accessible seats, a carbon fibre roof, the largest boot in any production Ferrari, which can be extended, and the highest driving position across the brand.<\/p>\n

Ferrari has also kitted out Purosangue with lots of technology, both in the chassis and in the cabin. Tech solutions include four-wheel independent steering; ABS Evo 6W-CDS (with six-way dynamic chassis sensor); F1 DCT eight-speed gearbox; unprecedented 4WD traction; Ferrari Active Suspension Technology (F.A.S.T.), which ensures wheel-ground contact on any road surface; 10.25-inch touchscreen for the passenger and a fully digital interface with touch-sensitive controls fitted in the rear seats.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
